Treatment Orientation

Our Treatment Orientation program is an essential part of the overall care provided here at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.  We believe that patients who attend Treatment Orientation enter treatment with decreased anxiety and an increased feeling of control.  Patients, therefore, are better able to manage the side effects of treatment and deal with the overall stress related to their diagnosis and treatment.  At Treatment Orientation, you will meet the interdisciplinary team, receive valuable support materials, and tour the cancer center.  You will also learn about all of the services, programs, and treatment options offered here at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.

This well-received program is offered to all patients and their friends and family.  Patients are strongly encouraged to attend orientation prior to beginning treatment, however may attend at any time during treatment.  Family members are also welcome to attend with the patient or on their own.  For more information call 908.237.2328 or speak with any of the staff or physicians here in the cancer center.
